PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR DALAM LCD DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE DISKUSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI PADA SISWA KELAS

XI MADRASAH ALIYAH MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PURBOLINGGO

             TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012 / 2013

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate whether the use of media images in the LCD using discussion method can improve students activity and learning outcomes at the eleventh graders of  Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo. Subject in this research were graders of IPA 1 at the second semester. This research is action research (PTK) and conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo with consist of 22 students. They were analyzed bu the use of percentage. Cycle 1 of learning outcomes were obtained 2 students who reached minimum standard (KKM) 70 amount 9.1% and amount 90.9 % not reached minimum standard, its show that 22 students out of 22 student’s or amount of 100 %. This research conducted 2 cycles and each cycle consist of 2 meetings conducted lerning activity, observation doing LKS ; answering multiple choice test consist of 10 items and doing reflection at the end of the cycle. In data collecting method the researcher applied form of observation and test. From of observation filled by 4 observes by giving check list (√ ). The students who do motivational seen from its activities in accordance with the indicator of doing LKS has increased from cycle 1 to cycle  2 in the amount of 80% to 90%, group discussion increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 amount of 80% to 85%, ask question increased from 1 cycle 2 amount of 73.4% to 80% and problem solve has increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 amount of 71.5% to 85% of the target set at 75% of researchers that reached minimum standard (KKM).
